They delivered when they said they were going to. A LOT cheaper than the exact same model that's at Best Buy. No hassles. This was a great deal, and great quality. I had been shopping around for tvs for a while.
I use Standard for watching tv during the day and Custom for at night.Standard Settings (daytime viewing) - Backlight 6, Picture 80, Brightness 50 Color 55, Hue 0, Color Temp: Warm 1, Sharpness 15, Noise Reduction: Low, MPEG Noise Reduc.: Low. However, at first I wasn't thrilled with the picture. Here are my Setting suggestions:Picture/Motion Enhancer: Off, Screen/Auto Wide: Off, General Setup/Light Sensor: Off, General Setup/Logo Illumination: Off You have four separate Setting choices for Picture. I don't believe I changed any of the Advanced Settings, but here are the values: Black Corrector: Low, Advanced CE: Medium, Gama: Low, Clear White: Off, Color Space: Wide, Live Color: Low.Custom Settings (nighttime viewing) - All of the Standard Settings including the Advanced Settings were used except for these three: Backlight: Min, Picture 94, Brightness 53.I hope my suggestions are helpful. My tv has been hooked up to a Comcast hd dvr (hdmi cable) for 5 months without any problems. The picture is excellent and I no longer have any glare issues.
This could be my Cable provider, other than than a near perfect system. Setting this up was easy, and I bought a Sony HTIB and hooked it up, both work well together. The TV's volume when the Home Theater is not on isn't as loud as it could be when watching HD channels.
It's my third Sony and there's a reason why you pay a little bit more. Couldn't be happier. I am totally mesmerized.
The setup was very simple. there's no need to. I've had this TV for about a month now.
The stereo sound quality is very good. The picture quality is stunning. They are the best, IMO. The sound quality is way better than I thought it would be.
We're not big on filling the room up with speakers and with this TV.
I am just hoping that I got the right (updated) base in case I decide to get it off the wall. I mounted it on the wall so I couldn't tell whether or not there's any tilting problem. It's only been almost a month since I got this product and so far, I haven't encountered any problem. It worked beautifully out of the box, no glare and the picture is crisp and near perfect though I haven't even done any adjustment yet (except turning off the light sensor as suggested by a lot of knowledgable reviewers).
